Libertapedia is an encyclopedia for libertarians that anyone can edit. The site was originally founded as "Libertarian Wiki" in 2004 by Paul Studier. In 2010, due to long inactivity of Paul Studier, Nathan Larson (known as Leucosticte here) copied all of the content from the Libertarian Wiki and moved it here, and Libertapedia was born.
Libertapedia allows users to post whatever they want (photo albums, blogs, etc.) in their own userspace. The standard for inclusion in the main article space is verifiability; there is no notability policy of a similar kind as what exists on Wikipedia. Thus, small businesses and such are permitted to post articles about themselves, as long as such postings are verifiable and in the form of an encyclopedia article.
Paul originally created Libertarian Wiki in 2004 as a place for libertarian activists. The site saw very little activity for 6 years. Then in 2010 Nathan Larson copied all of the content from the Libertarian Wiki and moved it here.
